WHAT IS OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY?

You're probably thinking, what is Occupational Therapy?
Well, to put it simply Occupational Therapy supports individuals to achieve independence with everyday activities.

OT FOR CHILDREN

Paediatric OT looks at developing kid's everyday skills through play. Some of the skills we learn in OT include:

  • grooming (brushing hair & teeth)

  • fine & gross motor skills

  • sharing & turn taking

  • bilateral & hand eye coordination

  • sensory processing

  • emotional regulation

  • sequencing

  • attention & concentration
