What are visual perception skills and why do we need them?
Visual perception skills involve your ability to organise and interpret the information that is seen and give it meaning through our sense of sight. Children need visual perception skills as it is a crucial skill that supports their development to read, write, draw, get dressed, organise/tidy their room as well as other important life skills.
